Bell’s Java Stout

Bell’s Brewery – Bell’s Java Stout – 12 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. – 7.5% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a dark brown with tan head that subsides to a ring.

Aroma:  Medium roast, coffee grinds, dark chocolate, sugar.

Taste: Bitter coffee, burnt roasted malt, dark chocolate. Alcohol is well hidden.

Mouthfeel:  Full bodied , very active spicy bubbles.

Overall:  Pretty solid, and the coffee worked well with the base beer.
