Appearance: Pours a deep dark brown with a rocky head that subsides to a cap of froth.

Aroma: Roasted malt and dark chocolate, and some fresh herbal hops tucked in the middle of it all.

Taste: Dark roast, black coffee, spicy hops, bitter chocolate. Finishes burnt.

Mouthfeel: Silky with average carbonation.

Overall: A very solid, assertive stout.
