Allagash Coolship Resurgam

From Allagash – A blend of two year old, 1.5 year old, and 6 month old spontaneous beer. Alc. 6.0% Vol

Allagash Brewing – Allagash Coolship Resurgam – On tap at Great American Beer Festival, multiple pours. 6.0% abv.

Appearance:  Pours a hazy pastel gold with a thin cap of white.

Aroma: Light tart funk.

Taste: Bitter metallic funk,  cactus cooler . Finishes tart.

Mouthfeel: Chalky. Modest carbonation.

Overall: Tasty and tart, but not as good as Coolship Red, which is one of the best American Sours I’ve had.
