Allagash Coolship Red

From Allagash – 2 year old spontaneous beer, aged on local raspberries for 4 months, blended with a small portion of “young” spontaneous beer at bottling.

Appearance: Pours a bright pink. White ring around the edges.

Aroma:  Very tart grape skins barrel jam and a lot of funk .

Taste: Very astringent tartness. Sour fruit ,wood tannins. Wheat and some  Berry lemonade.

Mouthfeel:  Astringent, full bodied, with modest carbonation.

Overall: Beautiful like a nice Cantillon.  Great balance fruit and sour, very complex, super tasty.
