Allagash Brewing – Allagash Avancé – 375 ml. bottle poured into a goblet. 10.2% abv. From Nancy in Portland, ME

Appearance: Pours a dark murky iced tea with a thin white cap.

Aroma: Ripe strawberry, funk and brown sugar.

Taste: Strawberry, earth, brett, tart grape skin. There’s some wood, but it’s very subtle.

Mouthfeel: Juicy, lively carbonation.

Overall: A really well made treat of a beer. A balanced fruity funky beer.
