Alaskan Brewing – Alaskan Perseverance Ale – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 9%. abv.
Appearance: Pours a viscous dark brown that leaves an iodine like coating on the sides of the glass.
Aroma: Ripe dark fruit, fig and dates, rich chocolaty malt, spiced rum like alcohol.
Taste: Dark chocolate. Cherry , vanilla, walnuts, medium roast black coffee.
Mouthfeel: Full rich mouthfeel with prickly carbonation.
Overall: I’m hard pressed to find anything I don’t like about this beer. It stands up to any ones top 3, I proclaim!
