3 Floyds Rye Da Tiger
From Three Floyds – Remember Rye’da Lightning? This is its double. Think of Ronnie James Dio while you enjoy this double Rye IPA.
3 Floyds – 3 Floyds Rye Da Tiger – 22 oz. bottle poured into a goblet. 8.6% abv.
Appearance: Pours a clear amber gold with a beige ring and micro film.
Aroma: Grapefruit, dank tangerine. Brown sugar.
Taste: Grapefruit citrus like hop. Dry spicy malt. Hop biterness that lingers.
Mouthfeel: Juicy medium bodied modest carbonation.
Overall: Tasty, hoppy, super drinkable, especially for something nearing 9%. My evolving palate likes this way better than Dreadnaught.
