Victory Brewing is holding a really fun ‘Wet Hopped’ contest for home brewers. Unlike a typical “home brew contest” you are entering to win the chance to harvest hops with Victory and make your very own Wet Hopped beer. Here’s an excerpt from Victory’s latest blog.
How would you like to test your brewing prowess by making a batch of your very own wet hopped beer? For a select few homebrewers, we’re going to make this a possibility.
Tell us a little bit about your love affair with brewing and you might be chosen to snag some fresh, wet hops. But not only that, you’ll join Victory brewer Kyler Gretz and help with the harvest too! The 2nd generation Chinook and Centennial hops are likely to be ready for harvest at the end of July.
You’ll take home enough hops to brew a batch or two of any recipe you design. All we ask is for a photo and a review of how you think the recipe turned out and the hops performed.
