Upland Brewing Co. Announces 2014 Secret Barrel Society Membership

(Bloomington, IN) – Wednesday October 16th, 2013- Upland Brewing Company announced today that it will open 2014 Secret Barrel Society memberships to the public today. This new Society offers members several perks regarding the company’s sour ales, and the funds it generates will be used solely for growing Upland’s young but renowned Sour Program.

Members, limited to 500 for the inaugural year, will be guaranteed a reservation from eight individual sour releases in 2014, a right usually only obtained through an online lottery system. Also included with the membership will be two Upland Sour Program custom glasses and a non- transferrable general admission ticket to the annual Sour Wild and Funk Fest in Indianapolis. Upland is recognized nationally and internationally for its sour ales. These beers are very labor intensive and can take a year or longer to be ready for consumption. Consequently, they are released in limited quantities and disappear quickly.
