Twisted Pine Brewing News for Summer 2012
Twisted Pine Brewing of Boulder Colorado shares great news of their upcoming 17th Anniversary beer entitled Red Rye-der, as well as some other pieces of interesting beer news.
Twisted Pine Red Rye-der (17th Anniversary Ale)
Twisted Pine’s newest anniversary beer, Red Rye-der, will be released at our 17th birthday party on July 14th! The brewers used a variety of malted grains, including copious amounts of München and rye malts, to craft a solid foundation for the beer, and then tossed in flavorful American hops by the bucketload (Northern Brewer, Centennial, Cascade & Chinook). Red Rye-der will be available in 22oz bombers and in draft form throughout Colorado and a few other select states.
Packaging Facelifts
In an effort to achieve more uniformity in packaging appearances, Twisted Pine staples Hoppy Knight and Big Shot Espresso Stout will both be wearing updated labels in the upcoming months.
The Return of Oak Whiskey Red
Twisted Pine’s Oak Whiskey Red will make its triumphant return this year just in time for GABF. The gold medal winning beer from GABF 2007’s Wood and Barrel-aged category is a Scottish-style ale aged to perfection in Kentucky bourbon barrels. Oak Whiskey Red will be available in 12oz bottles by the four-pack and on draft throughout Colorado.
