Tröegs Tasting Room Now Open – Mad Elf Now Available
The renovations are complete and the Tröegs Tasting Room is now open for in-house sampler tray sales, as well as six packs, 22oz. bottles and growlers to go.
“As the brewery has grown, we’ve become a destination,” says Chris Trogner. “The expanded tasting room allows us to accommodate visitors during the week and handle the larger crowds that visit the brewery on Saturdays.”
The expansion project includes permanent seating for approximately 50 people and additional windows for a better view of the brewhouse and packaging areas.
Along with the expanded tasting room, we have added more tours on Saturdays. Three tours are available each Saturday at 1:30, 2 and 2:30 p.m. The tours are limited to 30 people and reservations are highly recommended since tours are almost always filled.
“Our tours have become wildly successful,” says Trogner. “By limiting the people per tour, we’re giving our customers a more memorable experience. The response to the new tours has been very positive. With the new tasting room, we might also look into extended hours during the week for special events.”
The Tröegs Tasting Room is open Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 12 noon to 4 p.m.
Case and keg sales are available at the brewery office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
The Mad Elf is Now Available
This is where we try to answer the voluminous questions concerning The Mad Elf. Before calling the brewery, please check if you can find the answer you are looking for.
We have completed packaging Mad Elf 12 ounce and 22 ounce bottles. Our wholesalers have received their complete order requests and there will be no additional 12 or 22 ounce bottling this year. Any rumor of a secret Mad Elf bottling before the end of year is not true. That being said, there is plenty of Mad Elf in retailers. Our recommendation is to buy it when you see. The closer we get to Christmas the harder it is to find.
101 ounce Mad Elf bottles are being packaged at the brewery next week. They will be shipped to our wholesalers over the next two weeks.
Mad Elf draft starts shipping the week of November 17 and will take approximately two weeks to get into all markets.
Due to federal regulations, Tröegs Brewery CANNOT ship Mad Elf in the mail.
The Mad Elf is available at the Tröegs Tap Room by the case, six-pack, single dinner bottle, and growler. 101 ounce bottles will be available starting November 15.
