Terrapin Moo-HooChiato Chocolate Espresso Milk Stout – Next Reserve Series Release
(ATHENS, GA)- Stout Season continues at Terrapin Beer Co. with their next Reserve Series release, Moo-HooChiato Chocolate Espresso Milk Stout.
Moo-HooChiato uses Terrapin’s seasonal favorite Moo-Hoo as the base beer, then adds a new layer of complexity with the addition of Jittery Joe’s espresso-roasted coffee beans. Jittery Joe’s is a coffee roaster local to Athens, with whom Terrapin has partnered for the past ten years. Terrapin also sourced the cocoa nibs used in this brew regionally; Nashville-based chocolate company Olive and Sinclair has provided the cocoa for Moo-Hoo since that beer’s release in 2010.
From the label:
Like your favorite cup of Café Mocha, Moo-HooChiato “Chocolate Espresso Milk Stout” puts you in the right state of mind. Take in the aroma of expertly roasted espresso from Jittery Joe’s and let your taste buds melt into the flavor of Olive and Sinclair’s award-winning chocolate. Brewed with lactose sugar for a creamy mouthfeel and a touch of sweetness, this is a barista’s wish come true.
