Tallgrass Winter Stout Now Available

Manhattan, KS – Tallgrass Brewing Introduces Winter Stout to their Lineup!

Tallgrass Winter Stout is Tallgrass Brewing Company’s first dabble into seasonal beers, and we have to say that this is really fun! Maybe it is the novelty of a seasonal, but we absolutely LOVE this beer here at the brewery! Brewer Brandon Rinkes and Jeff Gill developed Winter Stout over the course of this past year as a little experiment with roasted barley, malts, and milk sugar. The result is an ultra smooth beer with that “just right” balance of roasted barley character and creamy sweetness on the finish.

Winter Stout has been  available in kegs across Kansas as of February 10, 2009! There are a very limited amount of kegs released at this time. However, we have had such good feedback on the Winter Stout that coming October 2009 it will be released as a regular seasonal in kegs and bottles.
