(Adamstown, Pa.) Brett Kintzer has wowed us again. Stoudt’s Head Brewer and his crew have been sitting on a library of Old Abominable Barrel Aged Barleywine from 2006 thru 2008. This rich brew is back to revisit the beer lovers everywhere. For those who appreciate a smooth, well crafted brew with a gorgeous aroma would surely relish in these fine offerings. Stop by Ed Stoudt’s Black Angus Restaurant June 12th at 5:00PM for a vintage flight series tasting for $7.00 and compare the years. Stoudt’s Seasonal Heifer-in-Wheat is better than ever! This true to style Bavarian wheat beer is full bodied and bursting with banana, clove and vanilla esters. The quality and taste of Heifer-in-Wheat has been a dazzling success with Stoudt’s customers. You can find this fantastic libation on draft at The Plough and the Stars in Old City Philly and the South Philly Tap Room in Southwest Philly on Mifflin St.. Heifer-in-Wheat is available all summer thru August on draught at bars, clubs, and restaurants.

The anxiously awaited 2nd Annual Battle of the Brewery bands will be held July 25th at Stoudt’s Biergarten. We raised $5,000 for charity last year and plan to top that this year. Join in the fun and cheer on your favorite participating brewery competing for the Golden Keg and their chosen charity. Great times, rocking tunes, fantastic beer and lots of laughs.
