Stevens Point introducing “Nude Beach”

Stevens Point Brewery is going clothing optional this summer with the introduction of the new seasonal specialty brew Point Nude Beach Summer Wheat.

The Stevens Point brewery will begin offering the new beer May 1. It describes the new seasonal as a “unfiltered wheat ale” that’s “brewed with ‘au naturel’ raw white wheat, malted red wheat and specialty barley malts.

“Wheat beers represent one of the most popular segments of the 8-million-barrel U.S. craft beer market and have recently enjoyed double-digit sales growth in many regions, including the Midwest where Point sales are strong,” said Joe Martino, operating partner at Stevens Point Brewery.

The brewery’s other seasonal beers are Point Oktoberfest, Einbock and St. Benedict’s Winter Ale. Point brands also include Point Special Lager, Point Classic Amber, Point Cascade Pale Ale, Point Belgian White and Point Horizon Wheat.

Suggested Pairings: Chicken, Pork, Summer Salads, SPF 30 and Swim Suit (optional.)
