Smuttynose Brewing Introduces Summer IPA
(HAMPTON, N.H.) — Because there can never be too many IPAs, Smuttynose Brewing Company is excited to introduce Summer IPA as their summer seasonal for 2017. It will be available in bottles and cans and on draft in mid-May, and comes in at a palatable 5% ABV.
“We wanted to make an IPA that’s perfect for a summer day, and we think we nailed it,” said Peter Egelston, Founder and President of Smuttynose Brewing Company. “It’s got all the hoppiness and bite of a classic IPA, and it’s perfect for a day by the pool or on the beach.”
The aroma is both complex and hoppy while perfectly balanced. Look for hints of citrus, and tropical fruits from the Zeus, Citra, Saphir, and Amarillo hops. The only thing more balanced than the aroma is the flavor, offering subtle malt sweetness on either side of the hops profile, and closes with a crisp, hoppy finish.
Smuttynose Brewing Company, New Hampshire’s leading independent craft brewery, has been brewing award-winning beer from the Granite State’s Seacoast since 1994.
