Smog City Brewing Opens Second Taproom In Hometown of Torrance

(Torrance, CA) – Established in 2011, Smog City Brewing has added brand awareness through award winning craft beers, partnerships with local non-profits and the nationwide 1% for the Planet as well as customer interactions at their brewery taproom and second taproom located in Long Beach at Steelcraft LB. Now they’re putting down deeper roots in their hometown of Torrance, CA with a second taproom built to excite sour beer junkies and Smog City classic beer lovers alike.

With 17 exclusive Smog City tap handles, featuring classics and sour/wild and experimental beers, Smog City West is now open limited hours.

Wed-Fri 3-9pm Saturday 12-9pm Sunday 12-8pm

Smog City West’s Grand Opening is Saturday, October 12th from 2-8pm at 22755 Hawthorne Blvd Torrance, CA 90505. Taproom will officially be open 12-10pm on October 12th.

Smog City Brewing was established in 2011 by husband and wife duo, Laurie and Jonathan Porter. Since then they have gone on to build a reputation in Los Angeles for their world class beers featuring quality and experimentation. The taproom atmosphere is always lively and the beers on tap are always deliciously diverse. Laurie serves on the board for the Los Angeles County Brewers Guild and California Craft Brewers Guild protecting craft beer across the state. Porter is a BJBC beer judge, Master Brewers Association member, certified Cicerone and a certifiable mad scientist- the mad genius behind Smog City’s success.
