Russian River’s Pliny The Younger Day 2015 Will Be On…..

(Santa Rosa,CA) – For the 11th year, Russian River Brewing Company will be holding the release of their world famous Pliny The Younger, known as Pliny The Younger Day.  Each year, this has been a feverish moment in many craft beer enthusiasts lives, as people flock from all over the country, and even all over the world for this beer. They stand in a long line with hopes to get a taste of this strong, but smooth hoppy beer. Pliny The Younger will be served over the course of two weeks in Santa Rosa, followed by a limited California release and other select markets, this will be the talk of the online beer geek community from now until the end of March.  While this has been well planned and well ran by Russian River in past years, it will be interesting to see how they fare with the newest generation of hoarders, tickers and opportunists. Russian River Brewing Company updated their Facebook page this weekend with a quick announcement as to when Pliny The Younger Day will be this year. “It’s on! Eric and RJ are brewing the first batches of Pliny the Younger at the pub. It is our 11th year brewing this seasonal winter brew. RJ is new to our brewing team and thought Vinnie may have made a typo on the recipe. Yep. That’s the right amount of hops for Younger! Release date is still set for Friday, February 6th!
