River North Brewery To Release Barrel-Aged Black IPA
Denver, CO – The next installment in River North’s Barrel Series is upon us! On Saturday, May 18th at 1pm, the brewery will proudly present…
Barrel Series No. 9: Hello, Darkness Black IPA aged in whiskey barrels!
River North’s distinctive black IPA is brewed with a healthy dose of roasted malt ad balanced by a copious addition of West-Coast hops. For the barrel-aged version, the beer was aged four months in freshly emptied charred oak whiskey barrels.
Debuting Saturday, May 18th at 1pm, this brew will serve as the grand finale for River North’s American Craft Beer Week celebrations. Both draft pours and bombers-to-go will be available, with the party continuing on Sunday.
Unlike other River North bombers, this beer will be sold in the taproom only. Thirty cases were bottled in total. Each bottle will be hand-numbered with love by brewery staff.
