Rhinegeist Brewery Announces Adam Bankovich as New CCO
(CINCINNATI, OH) — Cincinnati-based Rhinegeist Brewery is excited to welcome Adam Bankovich into the role of Chief Commercial Officer! An Ohio native and 20-year Cincinnati resident, Adam brings a wealth of experience from the industry, including over nine years of employment with San Diego-based craft beer icon Stone Brewing, culminating in the role of VP of Sales. Prior to working for Stone, Adam spent four and a half years with Cavalier Distributing, a locally-based distributor specializing in American craft and specialty import beer. In his role as CCO, Adam will utilize his industry experience to oversee the development of Rhinegeist’s commercial strategies with a heightened focus on driving growth.
Working for West Coast trailblazers Stone Brewing while residing in Cincinnati has given Adam a unique perspective on the industry in general, and Rhinegeist specifically. “I vividly remember the turning point when Cincinnati really came into its own
as a legit craft beer town,” notes Bankovich. “I’m so grateful for the years of experience and friendships I gained working around the country for Stone Brewing…at the same time I was watching all the energizing growth happening here in Cincinnati. Rhinegeist has become an incredible, iconic brand that resonates far beyond Ohio. Achieving that level of success requires everything working together, and I’m beyond excited to start my next chapter at Rhinegeist and bring my energy and experience to a team that has already accomplished so much. Cheers to all the great things ahead for Rhinegeist, for Cincinnati, and beyond!”
“We are excited to add a knowledgeable industry veteran to help craft our commercial strategy for the future,” notes Rhinegeist CEO Michael Parks. “We are fortunate to have found someone with Adam’s experience and deep Cincinnati connection to continue cementing our position as a major player in the craft industry.” Rhinegeist founder Bryant Goulding adds “As the craft beer industry evolves, we continue to focus on our great employees and producing the quality brands we’ve built our company around and innovating effectively and consistently. Adam brings a seasoned, fresh perspective and people-first leadership style to align our sales and marketing efforts in an ever-complexifying market. While we’ve been friends for many years, I am now excited to collaborate with Adam to shape and execute our vision for the future.”
Bankovich assumes his role as CCO at Rhinegeist in early October.

Good info on Rhinegeist. Cincinnati has a few really good craft beer houses with big tap rooms worth visiting. Although Rhinegeist is now available in many other cities and is letting people know, many people still aren’t aware of the craft beer scene in Cincinnati. You have many good choices other than just the big ones Sam Adams, Brewdog and Moerlein.
