Pisgah Chocolatized Bottle Release Details
(Black Mountain,NC) – Pisgah Brewing in Black Mountain, NC is set to release their award winning Chocolatized Vortex II (which will now only be known as Chocolatized) in 22oz bottles and on draft on Thursday, November 19th at their taproom. The VERY limited batch will only produce around 20 cases to be sold in bottle, so a pre-order has been set-up through Pisgah Brewing’s venue ticketing partner, TicketBiscuit. Bottles will be $12 each, and the release will begin at 6pm.
Chocolatized can be considered one of many unconventional beers made in Pisgah Brewing’s long history –a Russian Imperial Stout aged on raw cocoa nibs from French Broad Chocolate Factory of Asheville – and it brought home a Gold Medal in the Chocolate Beer category at The Great American Beer Festival in 2014. Rich notes of roasted malts, coffee and, of course, chocolate entice the palate for sip after sip, lending to a crisp bitterness and full bodied mouth-feel. Accompanied with a black color and perfect head retention, the 10-Year Anniversary edition of Chocolatized lives up to the occasion. Some of the 2015 batch made its way into bourbon barrels for aging, though details of that release have yet to be determined.
Bottle pre-sales will begin on Tuesday, November 17th at 10:00am ET. Purchaser’s credit card MUST match the person’s ID and must be 21 or older. No refunds will be given for underage purchases or unmatched credit cards or IDs. Pre-sale product must be picked up in person at the release.
