Penrose Brewing Wild IX Cuvée and Wild XVI Release Details
(Geneva, IL) – Penrose Brewing announces details of their Wild IX Cuvée and Wild XVI bottle releases, slated for January 30th at their brewery.
On the heels of our last release that included Spectral with vanilla beans and our big, boozy, bourbon barrel-aged dark ale — Outlier — it’s time to head back to the wild side of things. On Saturday, January 30th we’ll drop bottles of Wild IX Cuvée and Wild XVI. There will also be very limited quantities of bottles from our new Cellar Collection series, Wild Plum.
Wild IX Cuvée is the oak-aged version of the stainless-fermented original, a dry-hopped wild ale with Brettanomocyes that was released last May. Wild XVI is an oak-aged sour blonde ale with citrus and Brettanomyces.
Now that Old Man Winter has asserted himself, we should point out that we’re opening our doors to allow folks to line up inside the brewery around 9am.
The line will be counted at 10:45am to determine the allocation — if you’re in line at this time, we will be do our absolute very best to ensure you receive bottles. We will accept credit, debit or cash for bottle sales through the back of the brewery. Our taproom will open at 11am and will operate as normal with credit/debit only, with all three beers available on draught.
We’ll see you soon, friends!
