Otter Creek SteamPipe Added To Year Round Lineup
(Middlebury,VT) – We’re stoked to announce the release of SteamPipe, our brand new year-round offering. We burned the rulebooks with this creation and when the smoke cleared we were left with a counter-culture interpretation of a traditional California Common Lager.
True to our brewers’ free-spirited ways, this warm fermented lager features a big dose of juiciness from generous additions of Galaxy and Mosaic hops.
Tropical fruit and citrus hop notes are balanced by a biscuity malt backbone that brings this heady brew down to earth, creating an easy-sippin’ Cali Common with a big old Vermont twist.
We tapped the first keg last week and it’s now pouring at our pub in Middlebury, and shipping to our distributors this week.
Look for SteamPipe in six-packs, 12-packs, cases of 12oz. bottles and on draught at a watering hole near you.
Just in time for the warmer weather, SteamPipe will be available in cans in the coming months.

Straight from our stash to your glass, we’re currently pouring an all-star lineup of beers that includes our highly regarded Russian Imperial Stout; our devilishly sweet barleywine collaboration, Double or Nothing; two killer seasonals in Kind Ryed and Citra Mantra; and a nitro version of our oatmeal stout, Couch Surfer.
If that’s not enough to get you off the couch, then drop in and grab some of our 2016 barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout. We only bottled 100 cases of this oak-soaked imperial stout that’s been aging in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels to reveal notes of caramel, oak and vanilla. Now exclusively available at our Middlebury digs.
