Lyons, CO Newest Quick Bite: Oskar Blues “The Old Chubway Expeditious Chow Dispensary” Is a Soda Jerk Joint with Soul!
Oskar Blues’ most recent location, “The Old Chubway”, is an everyday eatery and fast food joint that is Lyons Colorado. The Beer inspired chow required hotspot is closely located to OB Grill & brew at 303 Main Street, Lyons, CO.
Whether you’re kayaking or tubing the mighty Saint Vrain River, buzzin’ down sweet single track on your mountain bike or grooving at a live show “The Old Chubway” provides a quick bite and plenty of options.
The Old Chubway offers delicious locally made ice cream ranging from crowd favorites like Cookies and Cream or Cupcake with Sprinkles. It also offers custom made ice creams like Carmel corn or Pumpkin Brownie. Banana splits, brownie sundaes and floats are ready to sooth the sweet tooth as well. The three tap keg orator isn’t pouring our famous Oskar Blues Brews but our soon to be famous homemade Root beer, Cream Soda, and Strawberry soda are ready for any wild and tasty float combinations.
On the savory side “The Old Chubway” produces house smoked Beef Brisket, Chicken or Pork Shoulder, cooked slow and low. Twist up your favorite ingredients like, chicken, pico de gallo, guacamole, rice, jack cheese and black beans in a giant burrito or load it up on a fresh baked foot long hoagie roll. Shaved cold cuts are also available to construct a deli masterpiece or the perfect turkey melt. The signature “La Fawnda” is a large bowl of the creamiest mac and cheese no holds barred, add beef brisket, blue cheese crumbles and thinly shaved red onions, and don’t forget to wash it down with an Old Chub Scottish Ale. The options are endless.
The lighter side isn’t forgotten. The Old Chubway has a large selection of healthy goodies for topping huge salads. Sweet Spring greens and chopped romaine lettuce can be tossed with everything from artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers to hummus and marinated olives. Don’t forget to add some black beans and chicken.
The Old Chubway Expeditious Chow Dispensary offers all 6 of Oskar Blues legendary canned brews. Although The Old Chubway prides its self as a quick to go option, the beer is for Chow Dispensary consumption only.
