Odell Releases Ten Paces, Retires 750 ML Format
(Fort Collins, CO) – On September 25th, 2017 Odell Brewing released its latest Cellar Series, Ten Paces, a barrel aged Huckleberry Wild Ale. This will be the last offering the 750ml bottles as Odell shifts it’s Cellar Series into 12oz bottles.
Drawing on the natural tartness of the huckleberries, this American-Style Wild Ale features a unique blend of yeast strains that produce a complex aroma of tropical fruit and clove-like spiciness while accentuating the deep fruit flavors. Among the characters of plum, grape, and fig, you’ll also notice this beer pours a beautiful deep purple hue.
“We enjoy working with fruit that’s unique to our Rocky Mountain region,” explains Bill Beymer, Brewing Manager. “But we didn’t want to make another straight-forward sour. By blending Belgian yeast strains and Brettanomyces with the Huckleberries, we’re left with a cornucopia of fruit flavors and a delightful funky tartness.”
Coming in at 6.5%, Ten Paces will be available in limited quantities as single 750ml bottles across Odell’s 15-state distribution footprint.
