Odell Brewing releases its award-winning Double Pilsner
April 21st, Odell Brewing of Fort Collins, Colorado will release its Double Pilsner, the summer edition of the Single Batch series.
Double Pilsner, a tribute to the classic Bohemian pilsner, is the second of three Single Batch brews created on Odell Brewing’s five barrel brewing system. Brewed with whole flower Tettnanger hops, Double Pilsner offers a strong German pilsner malt profile that is balanced by the addition of Saaz hops, Munich malt, and Caramalt.
Last week the Double Pilsner won the silver medal for Strong Ale/Lager at the 2008 World Beer Cup in San Diego. Odell Brewing also won a silver medal for its Cutthroat Porter and the gold medal for its IPA.
The Double Pilsner will be available to Odell Brewing’s seven state distributor network. Six-packs will retail for approximately $10.99-$11.99.
Odell Brewing will celebrate the annual release of the Double Pilsner with a tapping party at the brewery on April 24th from 4-6 pm.
