Hot on the heels of the recent announcement of an upcoming series of collaborative brews with craft-brewing mega-company Redhook Ales, Cigar City Brewing received a coveted Quality Customer Service Award, beating out all other breweries in the category of customer relations, responsiveness and customer satisfaction! “Customer Service has always been our first priority”, said CCB founder Joey Redner. “Other breweries focus on beer first and while that probably works for them, we know that if you don’t answer every communication from every source be it email, text, facebook or what have you in a timely manner and in enough detail to satisfy a Ming Dynasty era accountant, your beer simply won’t be as good as it could be. That is all there is to it. So all of our staff receives weekly customer service training, primarily focused around tap list
projecting and how to quickly get that information out to as many clients as possible,” he continued. This marks the 50th consecutive gold service award for the Tampa based Brewery prompting them to recently change their slogan from a nuanced nothing at all to, “Servicing customers is what we do best!”
