Listermann Brewing Celebrates 25th Anniversary
(Cincinnati,OH) – Listermann Brewing Company, an award winning brewery and home brew shop in Cincinnati, is celebrating their 25th anniversary next week with some fun events.
Dan and Sue Listermann founded the company in 1991 to make parts for home brewers and ship them around the country. They moved to their current address at 1621 Dana Ave in 1995, and opened the doors to their brewery in 2008.
The festivities kick off with Trivia on Wednesday 6/8 starting at 7 pm. This will be different than the normal round of trivia, which happens every Wednesday. A team of brewers will be playing and if any team beats them in any round, they get a special prize.
Thursday we welcome our good friends Renegade Street Eats for Wing Night. This happens every Thursday here, but this one if special. They will be serving specials sauces made with our beer! $10 for 6 wings and a pint from 5-8 pm.
Friday we are going to do our very First Norwood Beer Dinner. While most beer dinner cost upwards of $70+, we are simplifying it and making it more affordable. For $15, the dinner is 2 wings, 2 sliders and a cake ball with each paired with one of our award winning beers.
Saturday is when the big party is! Our doors will open at 10 am with special beers on drafts and bottles of our Lemon Pound Cake and Strawberry Kiwi Tart going on sale for the first time ever. Different beers will be on tap at different parts of the day. Party runs until 11 pm, with different beers going on at different times (list released next week).
In addition to all the fun, Listermann will be debuting their new bar. The bar is modeled after owner Dan Listermann’s great great grandfather’s bar. Martin Listermann owned Listermann’s Café on Spring Grove Ave. The café was open from 1875 to 1968.
‘It feels like just yesterday,’ Says owner Dan Listermann. He continues, “It been a fun ride seeing how the industry and our business has changed. We started at the Hamilton County Business Incubator in ’91 and I never saw us being where we are today.”
