Lagunitas Doesn’t Suck?

If you recall the winter of 2011, it was a sucky one. Why? Because Lagunitas had the nerve to have a logistical issue in their brewhouse that caused them to shelf Brown Shugga for that season.

As we began to cry and hurl insults at Lagunitas, they quickly addressed the issue by releasing a beer called Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale Brown Shugga Substitute.  It turned out to be one of the best beers Lagunitas has ever made, and was so tasty and popular that they made a subsequent batch called Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Leftover Ale.

Well we know Brown Shugga is back this year, so what about Lagunitas Sucks for this season?

We have confirmed through Lagunitas that beer will return this coming January.  We aren’t sure if  the name will be slightly tweaked or if the abv will be the same, as some Lagunitas beers fluctuate from batch to batch, but we do know we will be drinking this bad boy.
