La Jolla Brew House Has a New Famous Brewer

We wanted to let you know we have been making some amazing changes over here at the La Jolla Brew House.

We now have a new Brewmaster, Travis Smith, who comes originally from Northern CA having brewed at Russian River Brewing Co., and then also having brewed for The Bruery in Orange County before joining the Brew House.

In the last two months Travis has been working hard to get the brewery running again, and not only that, but has been doing an amazing job at creating some outstanding craft beer!

With the new Brewmaster settling in, a new chef excited to make mouths water, we are gearing up for our first Beer Dinner in a while. This dinner promises to be a great one too!

This first Beer Dinner with our new Brewmaster and new chef is part of celebrating San Diego Beer Week!

On November 10th at 7pm, we will be hosting a four course Beer Dinner featuring beers from the La Jolla Brew House, Lightning Brewing Co., Airdale Brewing Co, and Manzanita Brewing Co. Want to meet brewers, want to drink beer, want to enjoy good food, want to celebrate SDBW? This should be a fun and tasty time.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and will go on sale the week of 10/25/10.

Well, tonight, Friday, October 22nd from 7pm-11pm we are offering food and drink specials as part of our Celebration of Change! We want to share all the new brews, food, and staff with the public! We hope you can join us! There is no cover charge, and no age restrictions. Just come prepared to enjoy great craft brew and delicious food in an atmosphere comfortable for everyone with prices that wont break your budget either! Dont’ forget your furry family member as our heated patio is dog/pet friendly!
