J. Wakefield Brewing Star Wars Day This Saturday
(Miami, FL) — J. Wakefield Brewing will be celebrating Star Wars Day on Saturday, May 4th from noon until 11:00 p.m., at their Wynwood brewery and taproom at 120 NW 24th Street. The event features a live light saber battle and Star Wars-themed cosplay.
Owner/brewmaster, Johnathan Wakefield is possibly Miami’s best-known Star Wars fan. He has reviewed Star Wars films for the local media and his taproom is filled with memorabilia and an impressive Star Wars cantina mural. He even sports several Star Wars related tattoos.
Saturday’s celebration will include:
Can release at noon.
Live light saber battle at 7:30 p.m.
Prizes will be awarded to the best cosplay/costumes.
The Star Wars saga will be playing in rotation on the big screen, all day.
A live DJ will provide sounds.
A food truck will provide the eats

Tatooine Sunrise (6% ABV) Fruit punch sour ale
*All Star Wars themed beers are limited and subject to availability. No flights. No growler and/or crowler fills.
