Ipswich Ale Brewery – New Brewery Update
Greetings from your friends at the Ipswich Ale Brewery!
During the holiday season more than ever, our thoughts turn gratefully to those who have made our progress and prosperity possible.
2013 has been a milestone year for us. Construction is complete on the new brewery, and production at our old facility is finished. Things are finding their place in our new home and we couldn’t be happier!
We’re excited for all of the things the future holds and it is in this spirit we say, simply, but sincerely, thank you for your support and best wishes for the holiday season!
Tanks, Tanks and more Tanks!
Production may be over at the old facility, but we’ve still got some remaining items occupying the space including a handful of tanks! As you can imagine, moving 48 tanks is no easy feat! We’ve taken our time moving them, carefully orchestrating which tank to move when, based on when it is needed, where it will fit in the cellar, and how to maneuver around existing items and structures. Luckily, we’ve been able to move the tanks and get them set up at a steady rate. With 13 tanks remaining at the old facility, we expect they will all find their way to their new home before the end of the year.
We’re also looking forward to welcoming 5 new tanks to our new cellar! Keep your eyes peeled for photos of these 60 barrel tanks in the near future! As always, you can follow our daily progress of settling into our new space on our Facebook and Twitter pages!
