Hops & Grain Releases “The One They Call Zoe”
Austin, TX – Austin-based brewery Hops & Grain is adding a third can of beer to its permanent collection, a pale lager called The One They Call Zoe. Named after owner Josh Hare’s beloved pup Zoe, the brew is dry- hopped with Crystal hops from Oregon with a clean malt profile that is pale in color and excitedly smooth. A base of German Pale and Vienna malts gives the beer notes of lightly toasted bread with a clean, crisp and refreshing mouth feel. The beer is then lightly dry- hopped with Crystal to lend just a hint of floral aromatics and a faint citrus flavor. Owner and head brewer Josh Hare suggests enjoying The One They Call Zoe with, well, life!
Hare is looking forward to sharing Hops & Grain’s third permanent brew in Texas and across the nation: “We are incredibly excited about the release of our third canned offering. Much like its namesake, The One They Call Zoe is lively, affable and meant to be enjoyed with every experience in life.”
Hops & Grain prides itself on its commitment to sustainable brewing practices, additionally donating to local environmental non-profits and supporting local community growers and producers. The One They Call Zoe is the third brew to be added to the Hops & Grain collection, joining its predecessors Pale Dog and the award-winning, Alt-eration.
Hops & Grain’s The One They Call Zoe will launch at the brewery and in Austin on April 1st and will reach Houston and San Antonio retailers shortly after.
