Hoppin’ Frog Hop Heathen Returns This Friday

(Akron, OH) – Hop Heathen Imperial Black IPA makes its comeback at Hoppin’ Frog Brewery in a big way this Friday the 13th.!  Winner of the Gold Medal at the 2012 U.S. Beer Tasting Championships, this Black IPA is 8.8% abv and quite hoppy. “Black IPAs” are a new craft beer flavor combination that’s sweeping the nation!  Our idea of what this new style should be is a crisp black beer, with a lightly roasty and chocolatey character.  Price is $8.99 /22-ounce bottle, and mixed-case discounts of 10% apply.

To celebrate the release of this Fall seasonal beer, we will be open from 10:00 am until 11:00 pm for retail sales.  For lunch, we will have a great lunch truck – the very popular Orange Truk, from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm!  The fun continues in the Tasting Room starting at 4:00 pm, when we will feature Hop Heathen on tap and in bottles to-go, and a SCARY dish prepared just for this release on Friday the 13th.!  Join us for the fun – hope to see you here!
