Help The Bruery Design Ebony & Oak Label
The Bruery is crowdsourcing the label design for their upcoming Ebony & Oak. Here are some highlights from the job posting on designcrowd.com along with description of the beer.
The Bruery has a brand new beer being released in early July 2013 and we would like you to design the label!
“Ebony & Oak” is the name of this new beer. It is a bourbon barrel aged stout – hanging in at around 8% abv. It’s rich in character from the dark, roasty malts as well as the time spent in previously used bourbon barrels – giving a flavor of vanilla, toasted oak and rich fruit – but without the intense alcohol of some more ‘imperial’ stouts.
Requirements
Must Have:
– Being a publicly sold alcoholic beverage, there are a number of legal guidelines that must be adhered to, as well as some of our own guidelines that pertain to each label, and are as follows:-Name: “Ebony & Oak” or “Ebony and Oak”
-Contains Alcohol – The phrase “CONTAINS ALCOHOL” in bold capitalized letters at least three millimeters in height and that is distinguishable from the background and placed conspicuously in either horizontal or vertical lettering on the front of the brand label.
-2013 Edition
-”8% Alc. by vol.” (must be written exactly like that)
-1 pint 9.4 fl. oz.
-”Brewed & Bottled by The Bruery, Placentia, CA
-”stout aged in bourbon barrels” this must be the general description of the beer.
-if you would like to include a more distinctive description, feel free to type in as filler and we will create the final descriptor.
-if you would like to include a quirky saying, as most of our labels have on the bottom right corner, feel free to come up with something of your own, or just leave space for us to fill it in.
