About Make-A-Wish®
The mission of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. From our humble beginnings in 1980 with one boy’s wish to be a police officer, we’ve evolved into an organization that grants a child’s wish in the U.S. every 40 minutes. Make-A-Wish San Diego will grant approximately 200 wishes to children in San Diego and Imperial Counties this year.
