Happy 2nd Anniversary to Half Pints Brewing

Half Pints Brewing Company is set to celebrate their second anniversary in style with the release of their newest beer, Grewsome Scotch Ale.

Beer lovers across Winnipeg have grown to appreciate Half Pints’ distinctively different brews. “Given that last year’s anniversary beer, Humulus Ludicrous was among three of our beers recognized nationwide, I have some relatively high expectations for the Grewsome,” says Brewmaster and President, David Rudge. “It’s not my style to disappoint our customers,” he added.

The newest member of the Half Pints family is a limited edition strong Scotch Ale with a wee kiss of hops and a thick, complex malty body. It is set for release at the brewery on Keewatin Street on August 9th, 2008 – two years to the day that the first brews started to hit the shelves in Winnipeg. It will only be available while supplies last.

Half Pints Brewing Company is Manitoba’s only independent, locally owned craft brewery. They produce three all malt beers year round (Bulldog Amber Ale, Little Scrapper IPA, Stir Stick Stout) and a rotating selection of specialty and seasonal brews for beer lovers in Winnipeg.
