Hangar 24 – Immelmann Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter First in Barrel Roll Series

From Hangar 24’s latest newsletter, they announce the first release in their Barrel Roll Series, Immelmann Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter.

We are also extremely excited to announce the release of the first beer in our new Barrel Roll Series; Immelmann: Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Porter. The Barrel Roll Series will feature limited release beers that have been aged in some form of Barrel. For the Immelmann, we selected our very popular Chocolate Porter and aged it for over six months in one-use Oak Bourbon Barrels. The result is a very complex, rich beer that is perfect for sharing now or extended aging. Immelmann will be packaged in 750 mL Cork & Cage finished bottles. This first release will be very limited; only around 1000 bottles produced. Look for 1-2 new releases in the Barrel Roll Series each year.

You can obtain this beer in one of three ways.

1) Pre-Sale. Starting December 8th at 4:00 PM, right after the first keg of Winter Warmer is tapped, you will be able to reserve up to three bottles per person. You must pay for the bottles at the time of registering. Purchasing at the Pre-Sale guarantees bottles at the Pre-Sale Pickup Day. Price is $20/bottle.

2) Release Day. December 18th at 11:00 AM. All remaining bottles will be released on a first-come first-serve basis. Limit will be three bottles per person. Price is $20/bottle.

3) Select Local Liquor Stores. A very small amount will be released to local stores on Monday, December 20th.
