Due to GLBC’s intensive expansion, the Bourbon Barrel Release Party has been moved to Thursday, October 28, 2010. All current RSVPs have been notified and given the opportunity to renew their RSVPs by Friday, October 1, 2010. As a result, additional tickets will not be released to the public.
In addition, the public release of the beer in the GLBC Brewpub and in 22 oz. bottles in the Gift Shop has moved to Friday, October 29, 2010. As per usual, growlers will not be available.
We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that our loyal fans continue to appreciate the investments GLBC has made over the past couple of months to ensure that the highest quality of beer is produced. Thank you for your loyalty and patience!
Bourbon and beer together? Yum! Join us on Thursday, October 28, 2010 for Great Lakes Brewing Company’s annual Bourbon Barrel Release Party. This is an experience your taste buds won’t want to miss out on.
Each guest will receive one (1) ticket for six (6) five oz. samples of beer:
-One (1) Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout
-One (1) Rackhouse Ale
-Vertical flight of four (4) Blackout Stouts from past years
-Bourbon-inspired hors d’ oeuvres
Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase 22 oz. bottles of Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout ($14/each) before the general public (limit 6/person/day).
Cost:
$30 per person (tax and gratuity included; non-refundable and non-transferable to a later date)

Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout will go on tap in the GLBC Brewpub on Friday, October 29th (Rackhouse Ale will go on tap once Blackout Stout is finished). Sorry no growlers. The 22 oz. bottles of Barrel-Aged Blackout Stout will be available for sale in the GLBC Gift Shop on Friday, October 29th.
