Grand Canyon Brewing Introduces New 22 oz Bomber Bottles That Get Even Better With Age
Williams, AZ – In the cozy northern Arizona town of Williams, there’s a storm a brew. But, it’s not the kind of storm you’d expect to see in this snow filled mountain town. It’s a flavor flurry like never before and it’ll blast your taste buds with great intensity and depth. For the past year, the Grand Canyon Brewing Company has quietly been working on an invention that will revolutionize the craft beer industry; they call it the Flavor Bomb—a patent pending, beer conditioning flavor widget—the longer it’s left in a bottle of beer, the better the flavor.
This winter, craft beer enthusiasts will finally get a chance to try three new beers infused with the Flavor Bomb—and as an added bonus, they’re available exclusively in the new 22 oz Bomber Bottle. The three Bomber Bottle brews include Coffee Bean Stout, Hop Bomber India Pale Ale and Shaggy Bock.
“We’re thrilled to finally introduce the Bomber Bottle and our Flavor Bomb to consumers this winter. In our test runs, we’ve found that the depth of flavor from the added Flavor Bomb intensifies the longer the bottle ages” said John Peasley, owner of the Grand Canyon Brewing Company.
“Since the Bomber Bottles get better with age, we think our customers will enjoy cracking one open over the course of a few months to enjoy the range of flavor.”
First up in the Bomber Bottle is Shaggy Bock—a classic bock style using three different types of sweet German Munich malt smoked over shaggy bark juniper, giving a hint of campfire flavor. Then, German Perle and Saphir hops are added to balance all that malt, 6.74%, ABV. This Bomber Bottle is packed with a Flavor Bomb containing a toasted oak stick so it just keeps getting better and better with age. Shaggy Bock pairs perfectly with holiday ham, smoked turkey and other BBQ meats.
If stout is more your thing, then reach for the Coffee Bean Stout—a full bodied stout with pale, Munich, caramel, crystal and chocolate malts that lend sweet coffee and toffee flavors. Then, UK Golding and a high roast barley finish this beer making it toasty and dry, 5.2% ABV. Coffee Bean Stout has 100 lbs of oatmeal per 15 bbl batch smoothing out the middle and the Flavor Bomb is packed with locally sourced Sumatra coffee beans for optimum flavor conditioning.
Then, get ready to blow your hops off with a 22 oz Bomber Bottle of the Hop Bomber India Pale Ale—not your run of the mill IPA, it’s made with Marris Otter malt with a plethora of hops. The Flavor Bomb is filled with a variety of hops cones before it’s inserted into the bottle, 7.5% ABV
