Founders Brewing – Founders Fest, Rübæus and Expansion Update

Join us on Saturday, June 22, for our BIGGEST party of the year, a street-side celebration of everything we love and all that makes Founders what it is today: the world’s greatest beer, incredible live music, delicious food from local favorites, and wearables and shareables from some of the area’s finest artisans. Founders Fest is an all-day event, and takes place on the streets surrounding the brewery.

Here is this year’s entertainment schedule:

3-3:20pm: Lowdown Brass Band
3:20-4pm: Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys
4-4:40pm: Cabildo
4:45-5:30pm: Roster McCabe
5:35-6:20pm: FBC All-Stars
6:25-7:10pm: Alexis
7:15-8:15pm: Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk
8:20-9:10pm: Man Man
9:10-9:30pm: Lowdown Brass Band
9:30-11pm: G. Love & Special Sauce

Founders Fest takes place from 3pm – 11pm, and is a ticketed, strictly 21+ event. Re-entry will be allowed based upon capacity.

Tickets are $20 in advance, available through EventBrite and in our on-site company store. 2013 Mug Club members can purchase discounted advance tickets for just $15 in our company store only. If available, day-of tickets will be $25 at the front gate.

Rübæus

We’re excited to be bottling Rübæus, a raspberry ale, for the first time since 2008! It will be available across our footprint in July and August.

Not another boring summer wheat beer or lemonade shandy—Rübæus is Founders’ way to celebrate the season’s warmest months. Optimizing the flavor of fresh raspberries added at multiple stages during fermentation, this stunning berry red masterpiece is the perfect balance of sweet and tart. No question about it, with a hefty malt bill and 5.7% ABV, this beer is 100% Founders.

Expansion Update

We have completed our north cellar expansion (see this YouTube video for a time lapse of the construction) and have both added two new vessels to our brew house and updated our packaging line:
