The Fort Collins Brewery Announces 3 May Limited Releases
(FORT COLLINS,CO) – The Fort Collins Brewery, along with Gravity 1020 Modern Tavern, is excited to announce the Altbier German Alt, Any Day Session Ale and Edgar as their May limited release brews, tapping on Friday.
The Altbier is created with high-rising Dusseldorph Alt yeast to create a smooth amber-colored ale with a delicate balance between German Pilsner and Munich malts and Willamette and Tettnang hops. The sweet caramel malt aroma of this German classic flow into the light body and strong hop bitterness rounds it all out.
ABV: 4.7% IBU: 64 SRM: 15
Second of the May’s limited releases, Any Day Session Ale, finishes at 1.008 Specific Gravity, for a refreshing and smooth malt profile. Hopped only with Chinook, this brew brings spicy pine and mild citrus to the nose and adds a fruitful balance to the flavor.
ABV: 4.8% IBU: 26 SRM: 6
One of the original FCB characters, Edgar, takes the color of glowing honey topped by a snowy white head. Subtle malt sugar with a hint of hop aroma lead into a traditional Märzen malt profile with a dash of extra bitterness.
ABV: 4.8% IBU: 18 SRM: 11
All three of FCB’s May limited releases will be available on May 16th in FCB’s Tasting Room, Gravity 1020 and select bars and restaurants in Colorado.
