Figueroa Mountain Brewing Shares News of Canning and Expansion
(Buellton, CA) – Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co.’s recent expansion is moving rapidly with several moving parts now online.
Within the past month, the company’s Buellton headquarters have completed installation of a 60bbl BrauKon brewhouse, three new fermenters, a new Comac canning line and additional packaging equipment, all of which have begun running. Figueroa Mountain recently brought on Tim Harbage as Buellton’s Head Brewer and is working with Kathinka Engineering and Engineered Brew as consultants to bring the project to completion.
A major anchor of this project is the company’s canning line and packaging suite, which is currently running initial tests of four brands of Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co. beers – Hoppy Poppy IPA, FMB 101 Blonde, Fig Mtn Light, and Lizard’s Mouth Imperial IPA. Until today, only the Hoppy Poppy cans had been revealed, but this is the first public look at the first four cans slated for upcoming release.
In the coming weeks, Figueroa Mountain Brewing Co.’s first wave of can releases will hit the company’s distributed territories in limited supply in California and Arizona. As these cans enter the market, the company’s @figmtnbrew social media will announce a date for an extremely limited sale of cans at their multiple taprooms. These first cans will be available at taprooms on a first-come, first-served basis, with limits of one 6-pack per person of each brand. Follow @figmtnbrew for official release updates on how to “Get it while you can!”
