Father's Day at Shenandoah Brewing!
If you are getting this email, you are a beer lover or you know a beer lover and there are good chances that you dad is a beer lover or at least enjoys a good beer now and then. So, if you haven’t already taken care of the old man, here are some options for you. Come in and get a gift certificate for him to come in and brew his own batch of beer or come in and have a few and buy some beer to go. Set up an appointment for him to brew and come in with him and pay for it then (we do have a few appointments available in the morning this Saturday, see below).
Bring him in for a few beers and/or some beer to go and pay for the tab. Any option will make him happy, trust me. Give him some beers and give him the day off for real and he will be a happy man (I’m a dad too, so I know).
Several morning appointments available for Saturday morning.
A group canceled at the last minute for this Saturday so we have a few morning appointments (945, 1045 and 1145) and one afternoon appointment (1245) now available for brewing. If you are thinking of getting dad in to brew this weekend, take advantage of this opportunity and call the brewery to get one of those slots!
Firkin of Stony Man Stout to be tapped on Friday night.
Firkin Fridays return when we tap a firkin of our Stony Man Stout on Friday night. Too hot and humid for a stout you say? Please… Join us for a great pint and start your Father’s Day weekend!
Things to brew at the end of June.
Octoberfest-style beers. These lagers take two months to ferment and condition, so brew them now and into July and they are ready for drinking in September. Hefeweizens brewed now are ready for the dog days of summer.
We have hops!
We currently have, in varying amounts, Cascade, Centennial, Warrior, Chinook, East Kent Golding, Tettnang, Saaz, and Northern Brewer.
Beers on tap this week at our pub.
On draft at various times during this the week: Big Meadows Pale Ale, Skyland Red Ale, Old Rag Mountain Ale, Stony Man Stout, Chocolate Donut Stout, Wet Hop Ale, and Mountain Beast Ale. Our rye beer will be on tap this week as well! Don’t forget the firkin of stout as well!
