Details on Rogers High School & No-Li Brewhouse’s $12,000 Community Fundraiser
(Spokane, WA) — No-Li is teaming up with Rogers High School and the Hillyard neighborhood to sell 600 “We Are Spokane” shirts to raise $12,000 for new Rogers High School football jerseys. 100% of the proceeds will go to Rogers High School. 600 shirts x $20 = $12,000.
The shirts go on sale Thursday, May 24th at The No-Li Brewhouse pub. They will be available through June 7th or until all 600 shirts sell out. When the limited run of shirts is gone, a $12,000 check will be written to pay for new football jerseys for the Rogers High School football team.
Rogers High School and the Hillyard neighborhood are examples of the best of Spokane, building on the strength of the community. Examples are:
- Rogers High School, once referred to in the Seattle PI as a dropout factory, has raised it’s graduation rate from 56% to 82% in the last 8 years.
- In the past two years, 76% of Rogers’ graduates have continued on to Technical Schools, Community College, or Universities.
“Providing jerseys for the football team is a way to celebrate this community and school,” says Ed Tomlinson, No-Li team member and former alumni, “This neighborhood has worked very hard to excel and grow, and to help them is to showcase their successes and pride, we’re really excited to be a part of this.”
Rogers High School has been featured in many national publications for their increased rigor and class offerings over the past few years:
