Details on 5th Annual WakeFest Invitational – February 15, 2020
(Miami, FL) — The fifth-annual WakeFest Invitational & Anniversary Celebration will take place at Mana Wynwood on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from noon to 5:00 p.m. Over 120 independently-owned craft breweries from across the country and around the world, are expected to pour, including roughy one-third of the top 100 craft brewers in the world from RateBeer’s annual list. Almost all of the breweries are from out-of-state or out of the country and have been individually selected and invited by the JWB team.
Many of the brewers pouring at WakeFest only come to South Florida once a year, specifically to pour at this festival. Over 2,500 craft beer lovers attended this year’s WakeFest, many traveling to Miami, just for the event.
“We’re thrilled at how much WakeFest has grown over the past four years and we are looking forward to making the fifth one even bigger and better. It’s really the only opportunity for craft beer enthusiasts in South Florida to sample the incredible beer that is being made by independent brewers across the country and in Europe. We are so proud to be able to bring it here to our own backyard.” said JWB founder and owner, Johnathan Wakefield.
VIP bottle package tickets will be available for $375 per ticket, plus tax and service fees. VIP bottle package tickets include early entrance at 11AM, special VIP tasting glass, free access to VIP food vendors, unlimited beer, special VIP area with specialty beers, six special release bottles, including one 750ml bottle of 5th Anniversary (brewed exclusively for the event) and first dibs to purchase additional specialty bottles.
100 of the VIP bottle package tickets will be made available to locals in the taproom on Monday, November 4th, at 10:00 a.m. Tickets will be limited to two per person.
The remaining VIP tickets will go on sale, online, on Tuesday, November 5th, at noon EST. (Limit: 2 per person). Last year, VIP tickets sold out in under ten minutes.
General admission tickets ($60, plus tax and service fees until January 1, 2020 and $75 plus, thereafter.) will go on sale on Wednesday, November 6th at noon EST.
