Crooked Stave To Release Seven New Beers Before The New Year
Denver, CO – Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project has an eventful holiday season full of releases planned for barrel-aged sour beer lovers!
On Wednesday, November 19th at 6 p.m., Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project will release bottles of Origins, their burgundy sour ale aged in oak barrels. This will only be the fourth batch of Origins released to date and marks the first in a string of seven unique bottle releases the brewery will host between now and the end of the year.
“We’ve been busy at Crooked Stave, brewing capacity has been steady and we’ve been brewing a lot of beers destined for barrels,” says Chad Yakobson, Founder and Brettanomyces Guru at Crooked Stave. “We are excited to release a collection of barrel-aged sour beers we’ve been working on over the past year. This is just the beginning of many specialty barrel-aged sour beers we plan to continue releasing on a regular basis.”
Last month, Crooked Stave announced that it would be discontinuing its Cellar Reserve Membership program following the 2014-year. Crooked Stave will continue to focus on quality barrel-aged sour beers while providing more public access to the unique diversity of beers in their expanding portfolio. These upcoming seven bottle releases are a sign of what’s to come for Crooked Stave in the near future.
Bottle limits will be set for all releases on a case-by-case basis. All releases will take place at the Crooked Stave taproom (3350 Brighton Blvd). The full bottle release schedule for November and December 2014 is as follows:
November 19th – Origins – Burgundy Sour Aged in Oak Barrels
