Creature Comforts Brewing Celebrates 8 Years With Event
(ATHENS, GA) – Creature Comforts Brewing Co. celebrates eight years since opening its doors this Spring. The brewery will host its Eight Year Anniversary on May 7 at its Snow Tire taproom in downtown Athens featuring special beers, live music, and an open-air market. The celebration includes a ticketed VIP session from 12:00 –1:00 pm and general admission from 1:00 pm – 10:00 pm. The brewery will have a special beer list for the occasion including new offerings, and will announce beer updates on social media leading up to the event.
“I am looking forward to celebrating the Eight Year Anniversary of the opening of our brewery,” said COO Adam Beauchamp. “Our organization has accomplished more than I could have imagined eight years ago, thanks to the incredible Creatures who dedicate their time to us and our amazing customers who continue to support our mission all these years later. I am filled with gratitude and excitement for what’s to come, as I feel like we’re just beginning to hit our stride!”
Over the past eight years, the brewery opened a second production facility in Athens, expanded distribution throughout Georgia and into South Carolina, and announced plans for a second location in Los Angeles. In addition to the expansion milestones, the brewery continually invests back into its communities through its community impact campaigns and recently achieved both B Corp Certification and TRUE Silver Level Zero Waste Certification.
Attendees can browse local art and goods at the Get Artistic Spring Artist Market from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Live music begins at 1:00 pm featuring local musicians including Heffner, Convict Julie, Mike Savino of Tall Tall Trees, Kishi Bashi, and more.
