Dogfish Head – Our 2011 Red & White has begun shipping to wholesalers and our Squall IPA starts heading out next week. If you are in the 30ish states where we sell, you’ll start seeing those 2 beers on the Fish Finder (access it on the Fishbowl tab here on FB) as they hit retailers! Cheers.
Stoudts – Now available our Spring seasonal, GABF award winning Karnival Kolsch! Look for it at your local Tavern or retailer or feel free to visit us and try a kolsch at our Brewery Pub! Speaking of local taverns, we just got word from MidAtlantic Restaurant and Taproom that they will be serving a special firkin of Chocolate-Cherry Porter from Stoudts during Valentines weekend. Jodi Stoudt is dropping it off today and we will be tapping it on Friday 2.12 and be pouring it through Monday the 14th!
Saint Somewhere – Bob Sylvester, owner and brewer of St. Somewhere brewing, will be on hand at Oldsmar Tap House to answer questions regarding his brewery and beers. The highlight of the evening will be a very limited keg of Cuvee de Falso, a sour ale brewed exclusively for the Oldsmar Tap House. Aged in oak, this sour ale is “mouth puckering delicious”. In addition, Bob’s other beers will be available to taste and purchase by the glass or bottle.
Anchor Brewing – We got a flyer in our email announcing a new release from Anchor Brewing. Brekle’s Brown, and all malt, single-hop brown ale will make it’s debut February 16, 2011 at 6:00 PM at Anchor Brewing. Click here to check out the flyer we got. Link removed at the request of the brewer.
Flying Fish – So we just got word an hour ago, The next in the exit series will be Exit 9 – Hoppy Scarlet Ale. While many don’t recognize this as a beer style or category, it seems they have just made a very tasty Imperial Red Ale with West Coast dry hopping styling! Here is the label graphic, which shares the abv and story behind the beer. http://yfrog.com/h5uwkkhej
Buckbean Brewing – Buckbean adds Black Adder IBA to the growing list of Black IPAs. “Wooo-hooooo! We have a brand new beer coming out this Friday (Feb 4)! The Black Adder IBA (India Black Ale)! This black IPA is fully black in color, with a nutty, roasty malt character and a moderate body, with a full, bright hop bitterness and aroma. De-husked black malt provides color and roastiness without astringent sharpness, and dark Caramel and Special Roast also deepen the color while imparting mild sweetness with lots of toasty complexity and depth. Newport, Palisade, Glacier and Ahtanum hops create multiple layers of crisp, American character with no harsh edges. It is 7.3% ABV and has 85 IBUs. Please come down to the brewery and enjoy $2 pints of any of our beers THIS Friday, February 4th. We also plan to can a limited amount of this IBA for sale only at Buckbean, and it will be available mid to late February. Finally, fill up growlers for half off on Feb 5 for the Super Bowl.”
Epic Brewing (Utah) – “Yesterday we released the second Imperial IPA batch. It’s limited—we bottled just over 1000, so get it while you can. The Imperial Stout will be available in most Utah State Liquor Stores this week. We are currently brewing our last batch of this stout. It won’t be brewed again until Fall 2011. If you are able, store it up so you can drink it up.”
Deschutes – Deschutes just announced a new member of their Reserve Series, Stoic! “The newest beer to join our coveted Reserve Series, this brew is so new that we can’t even really tell you about it yet. Actually, it’s top secret until a sneak preview during Deschutes Brewery Base Camp Week in San Francisco during the Craft Brewers Conference. Want to find out more about this philosophical beer? We’ll see you in San Francisco!”
