Community Beer Works Turns 1
It’s hard to believe it’s been entire year since we opened. And yet it has! April 20, 2012 was the first day you were able to drink Community Beer Works. On that fateful night we set up shop at Cole’s and Mister Goodbar (at the time, the only places we were available) and poured Frank and The Whale. This year, we thought we’d do the same, only bigger.
Once again, Saturday April 20 we’ll be at Cole’s and Mister Goodbar. Show up any time after 6 for a good time and great beer. There’s no entrance fee: just walk in and have a pint with us! We’ll be bringing some of our usuals, but also a quartet of special beers for the special night:
- A Belgian tripel
- A double IPA with amarillo, cascade and zeus hops
- A porter made with hops from McCollum Orchards; and
- Barrel Aged Snow, our imperial stout that’s gotten to know some rye whiskey barrels from Finger Lakes Distilling
You can come, right? We sure hope you can. You can RSVP on Facebook if that’s your thing, or just show up with a smile on your face and a thirst in your heart.
